  89R12591 DNC-D     By: Virdell H.B. No. 3763       A BILL TO BE ENTITLED   AN ACT   relating to certain audits of employers conducted by the Texas   Workforce Commission.          BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:          SECTION 1.  Section 213.055, Labor Code, is amended by   adding Subsection (d) to read as follows:           (d)     The commission may conduct an audit of an employer to   determine if the employer is in compliance with the requirements of   this subtitle or rules adopted under this subtitle only if the   commission has reason to believe that the employer has violated   this subtitle or a rule adopted under this subtitle.   The commission   may not conduct a random audit of an employer for that purpose.            SECTION 2.  This act takes effect September 1, 2025.
