CALIFORNIA LEGISLATURE— 2025–2026 REGULAR SESSION Senate Bill No. 1331 Introduced by Senator Choi February 20, 2026 An act to amend Section 1500 of the Health and Safety Code, relating to community care facilities. LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST SB 1331, as introduced, Choi. Community care facilities. Existing law, the California Community Care Facilities Act, provides for the licensing and regulation of community care facilities, as defined, by the State Department of Social Services. This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to a provision relating to the California Community Care Facilities Act.
