CALIFORNIA LEGISLATURE— 2025–2026 REGULAR SESSION Senate Bill No. 1068 Introduced by Senator Alvarado-Gil February 13, 2026 An act to amend Section 1250 of the Water Code, relating to water. LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST SB 1068, as introduced, Alvarado-Gil. Water appropriations. Existing law requires the State Water Resources Control Board to consider and act upon all applications for permits to appropriate water. This bill would make a nonsubstantive change to that provision. Section 1250 of the Water Code is amended to read: 1250. The board shall consider and act upon all applications for permits to appropriate water and shall do all things required or proper relating to such these applications.
