CALIFORNIA LEGISLATURE— 2025–2026 REGULAR SESSION Assembly Bill No. 2268 Introduced by Assembly Member Schiavo February 19, 2026 An act relating to in-home supportive services. LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST AB 2268, as introduced, Schiavo. In-Home Supportive Services program. Existing law establishes the In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) program, administered by the State Department of Social Services and counties, under which qualified aged, blind, and disabled persons are provided with services in order to permit them to remain in their own homes. This bill would state the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation relating to the In-Home Supportive Services program. It is the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation relating to the In-Home Supportive Services program.
