CALIFORNIA LEGISLATURE— 2025–2026 REGULAR SESSION Assembly Bill No. 582 Introduced by Assembly Member Pacheco February 12, 2025 An act to amend Section 11370 of the Government Code, relating to administrative hearings. LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST AB 582, as introduced, Pacheco. Administrative Procedure Act. Existing law, the Administrative Procedure Act, governs, among other things, the procedures for the adoption, amendment, or repeal of regulations by state agencies and for the review of those regulatory actions by the Office of Administrative Law. Existing law specifies which code sections constitute the Administrative Procedure Act. This bill would make a nonsubstantive change to those provisions. Section 11370 of the Government Code is amended to read: 11370. This chapter, Chapter 3.5 (commencing with Section 11340), Chapter 4 (commencing with Section 11370), Chapter 4.5 (commencing with Section 11400), and Chapter 5 (commencing with Section 11500) constitute, and may be cited as, the Administrative Procedure Act.
