Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa- 1 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2 SECTION 1. RECLASSIFICATION OF SHADOW WOLVES AS GS– 1 1811 SPECIAL AGENTS. 2 Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the Di- 3 rector of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement is 4 authorized— 5 (1) to reclassify the technical enforcement offi- 6 cers (also known as ‘‘GS–1801 tactical officers’’) as- 7 signed to the Homeland Security Investigations tac- 8 tical patrol unit operating on the lands of the 9 Tohono O’odham Nation (commonly known as 10 ‘‘Shadow Wolves’’), as of the date of the enactment 11 of this Act, as special agents, upon the successful 12 completion of— 13 (A) the Criminal Investigator Training 14 Program; and 15 (B)(i) Customs Basic Enforcement School, 16 if the officer was hired before March 2003; or 17 (ii) U.S. Immigration and Customs En- 18 forcement Special Agent Training, if the officer 19 was hired during or after March 2003; and 20 (2) to classify any Shadow Wolves who are as- 21 signed to the unit referred to in paragraph (1) or to 22 any comparable unit after such date of enactment as 23 special agents upon the successful completion of the 24 training described in paragraph (1). 25 VerDate Sep 11 2014 03:52 Mar 19, 2020 Jkt 099200 PO 00000 Frm 00002 Fmt 6652 Sfmt 6201 E:\BILLS\S3435.IS S3435 kjohnson on DSK79L0C42PROD with BILLS 3 •S 3435 IS SEC. 3.
