Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa- 1 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2 SECTION 1. NATIONALLY SIGNIFICANT FREIGHT AND HIGHWAY 1 PROJECTS. 2 Section 117(n)(1) of title 23, United States Code, is 3 amended— 4 (1) by striking ‘‘The Secretary’’ and inserting 5 the following: 6 ‘‘(A) IN GENERAL.—The Secretary’’; and 7 (2) by adding at the end the following: 8 ‘‘(B) CONTENTS.—The annual report re- 9 quired under subparagraph (A) shall include— 10 ‘‘(i) a summary of each project for 11 which an application was submitted under 12 this section and a grant was not provided; 13 ‘‘(ii) the application for each project 14 for which a grant has been provided under 15 this section; and 16 ‘‘(iii) a rating for each project for 17 which an application was submitted under 18 this section on such project’s ability to ful- 19 fill the goals described in subsection (a)(2) 20 and a description of such ability.’’. 21 Æ VerDate Sep 11 2014 04:14 Mar 17, 2020 Jkt 099200 PO 00000 Frm 00002 Fmt 6652 Sfmt 6301 E:\BILLS\H6184.IH H6184 kjohnson on DSK79L0C42PROD with BILLS
